Having struggled for years to find the right fit for their son, who has autism, Richard and Linda found the perfect match for Max when they were introduced to The Joshua School.
Max’s parents recognized the progress he was making practically overnight. He was smiling and looking forward to going to school in the morning. Max’s unique interests and abilities were recognized and incorporated into the structure of his programming. According to his parents, “He trusted that he was safe and valued.” Activities such as preparing and serving meals from the school’s kitchen and making bracelets for his friends provided Max the time, space, and support that help him contribute to his world.
The Daniels Fund is proud to support The Joshua School and the many young people who flourish with its compassion and support.
