June came to the Child Development Center of Natrona County as an infant following a diagnosis of Cornelia De Lange Syndrome, a genetic condition causing her hearing and vision loss. The Daniels Fund supports the Child Development Center and its early intervention efforts. This funding provides flexibility for the organization to purchase much-needed equipment for clients like June.
June’s condition precluded the use of standard hearing aids. The Child Development Center was able to purchase specialized devices that fit June’s tiny ear canals.
On September 3, 2021, June heard her mother’s voice for the very first time — and it was magical!
