The Daniels Fund supports the BeyondHome Self-Sufficiency Program because it changes lives. For Claudia, those changes are hard to measure. She was trapped in an abusive relationship and living paycheck-to-paycheck working multiple jobs. BeyondHome provided her with access to counseling, stable housing, food, education, and a case manager determined to help her find a new way forward. Today, because of that support and encouragement, Claudia’s life is completely different.

“I’m a pharmacy tech now. I got my certification. I passed my exam on the first of July. I’m also certified to do vaccines, so I’ve been doing that. I applied for a job, and am about to buy a house in a few weeks.”
