Because of the Daniels Fund, I was able to choose the school that was the best fit for me. I didn’t have to settle or hold back. I could actually go after what I really wanted. That freedom changed everything.

Brooke graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Computer Science-Business. At Mines, she developed hardware and software components for monitoring mother and child during childbirth, which is now being used in developing countries. Brooke’s dedication to improving healthcare has landed her a position at The Cigna Group as an Application Developer.

The Daniels Fund gives Scholars the ability to attend any accredited nonprofit college or university in the country. That freedom allows students to pursue the education that best matches their goals, strengths, and dreams. For many, it means attending a school they never thought was possible—and stepping confidently into a future full of opportunity.
