Online Application for the 2011-2012 Daniels Scholarship

The application process for the 2012 Daniels Scholarship is now closed. Our sincere thanks to all of our nominators and recommenders, and our best wishes to all of our applicants

   ONLINE APPLICATION       You may begin the application process by clicking the Online Application link at the bottom of this page. First-time users will be prompted to create a unique User ID and Password, which will be required for future logins (as often as you wish prior to the deadline) to complete the application. Please note—you will be required to provide your personal e-mail address to complete the application. 

Next, you will be prompted to answer eligibility questions. The eligibility criteria for the Daniels Scholarship includes financial need. The Daniels Fund determines financial need by evaluating a number of factors including the applicant family’s income and assets, family size, and Estimated Family Contribution (EFC). 

In addition, you must provide the e-mail addresses for both:

• the individual providing the Referral Agency nomination, and
• the individual providing a letter of recommendation

You should plan to spend approximately 10 hours completing the Daniels Scholarship online application. This estimate includes gathering materials, filling out the application, and writing answers to the essay questions. 
 

All application materials must be submitted online by:
Wednesday, November 30, 2011 by 4:00 p.m., Mountain Standard Time
 

   ITEMS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION   

• Nomination card
• Personal e-mail address
• Name and e-mail addresses for both the nominator and recommender
• List of activities or résumé 
• Transcript or report cards
• ACT or SAT exam results
• Parent/legal guardian contact information
• 2010 household income information

    IMPORTANT REMINDERS    

• You are advised to write down your user ID and Password for future reference.
• You are not required to complete an application all at once. However, once you click the “Submit” button, no changes can be made.
• Save the application frequently while logged in.
• Your entries will automatically be saved when moving from section to section in the application.
• Sessions will be timed-out and saved after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• Be sure to use the “Log Out” button when exiting the application or leaving the computer.
