Daniels Scholarship Referral Agencies
|
Daniels Scholarship Referral Agency Overview The Daniels Fund has established partnerships with more than 1,000 Referral Agencies—from youth serving organizations, to high schools, to college prep programs—to find and nominate eligible students. Because these agencies are rooted in the communities they serve in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, they offer an excellent avenue for deserving candidates to compete for the Daniels Scholarship.

Daniels Scholarship Selection Timeline

We are excited to announce changes to enhance your experience in nominating students:
-
There will be no limit placed on the number of nominations that each Referral Agency may submit. Our goal is to ensure that every qualified student has the chance to be nominated for the Daniels Scholarship. We encourage you to seek out and nominate those students who best demonstrate the desired characteristics indentified by our founder, Bill Daniels.
- Referral Agencies will no longer be required to attend training sessions in-person. Rather, we have created an online information presentation and we strongly recommend it be viewed by each person from your organization who will be nominating students.
The presentation may be viewed by clicking this link
-
Nomination cards will not be mailed to you as in previous years. Instead you will be able to download them from a link after viewing the online information presentation.
- You will no longer be asked to submit letters of recommendation. Instead, you will be prompted to answer questions about your nominee in our easy-to-use online format.
Online Information Session for Referral Agenices
An online Daniels Scholarship Information Session has been created as a training tool for Referral Agency representatives. The presentation is just under 20 minutes long and requires Adobe Flash Player to view.
