The 2015 Daniels Fund Ethics Consortium Summit (#DFEthicsSummit) is taking place October 29-30 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort in New Mexico. The Ethics Summit is designed to stir interaction and conversation among participants, through a series of keynote presentations, panels, and small group discussions focused on "The Future of Ethical Leadership."

Participants include undergraduate students and faculty members representing 11 schools from 9 universities in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, all members of the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative. Business leaders from the university's communities are also participating, with the goal of extending the Summit’s relevance and value beyond the campus and into the business world.

"The goal of this summit is to demonstrate that ethics and education are central to the creation of long-term value in business and society," says Linda Childears, President and CEO of Daniels Fund. "Bill Daniels believed that principle-based ethics was first and foremost in his business relationships."

The Summit kicks off Thursday evening with a dinner, emceed by Doug Brown, Dean Emeritus of Anderson School of Management, University of New Mexico. Linda Childears, President and CEO of Daniels Fund, will make the welcome presentation.

Friday's schedule includes keynote speakers Alfonzo Alexander, President of NASBA Center for the Public Trust; Craig Cash, Director of Ethics and Business Conduct for Lockheed Martin MST; and Keith Darcy, President of Darcy Partners and former Executive Director of the Ethics & Compliance Officer Association.

The business panel and the faculty panel will each bring a unique perspective to the Summit. The business panel includes Bill Brierly, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, CH2M; Dennis Garcia, Sr. Vice President and Manager of Treasury Management for US Bank; and Ed Rivera, President and CEO of United Way of Central New Mexico. The faulty panel includes Jessica McManus Warnell, Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame; and Kelly Richmond Pope, PhD, Driehaus College of Business, DePaul University.
