A Daniels Fund Impact Story
| College Attended: Colorado State University Pueblo Major: Sociology/Undeclared Scholarship Year: 2009 |
Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar: It is the highest honor to be called a Daniels Scholar. It is such a GREAT blessing but on top of that, learning who and what Bill Daniels was really about, I now feel honored be called a Daniels Scholar.
What do you like most about being in college? I like the flexible hours and that you are actually interested in the material you are studying, so it's a kind of joy to study because you want to learn the material.
What has been the greatest challenge so far in college? The hardest part is just staying focused and not procrastinating.
What advice would you offer someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar? Go all out! Put as much effort into it as you can. It is without a doubt worth every late night, missed party...it is worth everything!!
