How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar:   To be a Daniels Scholar is more than words can explain. It is one of the greatest accomplishments of my life and I feel like I have to live up to high expectations now because there are a lot of people who believe in me. Bill Daniels was a very successful and giving man and now that I am one of his scholars, I have to live up to what he would want me and all of the other Daniels Scholars to achieve.

What do you like most about being in college?   I like the way college is so much more mature than high school on a social and learning level. You have complete freedom and are treated as an adult.

What has been the greatest challenge so far in college?    So far the transition from High School to college has been a challenge because in High School it was very easy and I didn't study much, but I learned quickly that many hours of studying are required.

My advice for someone who wants to be a Daniels Scholar is to study Bill Daniels and read about what a great man he was and use him as your motivation to do great things in life. My knowledge of Bill Daniels was not very much prior to receiving the Daniels Scholarship, but when I received the scholarship and learned all of the amazing things he did, it showed me the type of man I want to be.  Thank you, Bill Daniels.
