A Daniels Fund Impact Story

How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

To be a Daniels Scholar:   To me, being a Daniels scholar means taking this amazing opportunity we received and being appreciative of it and realizing what actually goes into us being able to go to the school of our choice and staying committed to succeeding in school and achieving the goals we have set for ourselves and taking full advantage of this rare and amazing opportunity.

Like most about college:   I most like being able to do my own thing and having that extra freedom and the realization of how much my mom really did do for me.

Greatest Challenge:   My greatest challenge so far is probably not being able to focus, I have too many distractions and I need to just focus on the tasks at hand and not get so distracted.

Advice to a Daniels Applicant:   My advice would be to take your time on the application and make sure the real you is being displayed through the application and just be yourself in the interviews.
