A Daniels Fund Impact Story
| College Attended: University of Denver Major: Business Management; Minor-Business Ethics & Legal Studies Scholarship Year: 2008 |
What being a Daniels Scholar Means: To me, being a Daniels Scholar means that it is my duty to keep giving back the way that I was given to. That once I am able to, I provide opportunities to people who would not normally have them. Being a Daniels Scholar to me, means that I now have a better path to take my life journey on, and that path is open to anyone else willing to do what it takes to fly above.
What I like most about College: I like the fact that I have a choice in the road I take to get me to where I want to be by graduation.
The Greatest Challenge in College: The greatest challenge in college, so far, has been managing the amount of time I have between class, studying, extra-curriculars, sleeping, and staying healthy.
Advice for Someone Applying: My advice to someone applying to become a Daniels Scholar is to not be afraid to tell your story, stay focused on where you want Daniels to help you go, and don't procrastinate.
