How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar:    Being a Daniel's Scholar provides me with great responsibilities. I have to become a leader for myself and for the community that I live in. I learn to balance my life with work and school. I know that without the Daniel's Fund scholarship, I would not be where I am today. I thank the Daniel's Fund for giving me this great opportunity in realizing my life goals. I am proud to be a Daniel's Fund Scholar.

What do you like most about being in college?    I like the interacting with other students in my classes. I get to meet new people every day and every year.

What do you like most about being in college?    I really enjoy all the life challenges the University provides for me. There's the occasional get together with friends, studying for mid-term exams and finals, but I really like the time management challenge.

My advice to an applying Daniels Scholar would be:    Be calm, it's important to show that you can handle stressful times.  Be yourself, Daniels Fund looks for great role models, do not lie about yourself.  This is more than just another scholarship, this could change your life.
