How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar:   To me being a Daniels Scholar means that I have a chance at having a better life than I would have had if I didn't attend college. It has helped my dreams come true. -And I can't wait to give back one day!

What do you like most about being in college?   I like being able to be around people with the same interests. I also love the openness of everyone around me. Different cultures, backgrounds, experiences, etc.

What has been the greatest challenge so far in college?   Motivating myself in the morning to get up and go to school. My parents are not around to wake me up. It was/is the hardest thing to do by myself.

What advice would you offer someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar?   When you apply, know in your heart that you want this, need this, and deserve this. If not, let someone else have the chance to be a Daniels Scholar! You can do all things, so believe in yourself and never give up on your dreams!!
