How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar:   It is a great honor to have become a Daniels Scholar. It is a great program to be a part of and everyone at DF is great and willing to help whenever with whatever. And just knowing that Bill Daniels would be proud keeps me motivated.

What do you like most about being in college?   Just being in college!  I love that college gives me the freedom to pick what classes I want to take and when I am going to take them. Also meeting tons of new people and connecting with faculty members willing to help out as much as possible.

What has been the greatest challenge so far in college?  The greatest challenge would be trying to manage time, being in college and having a "real" adult life means a change in priorities.  I have different responsibilities now and I have to figure things out for myself, not letting others do the work for me.

What advice would you offer someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar?  Try your hardest!  It is so worth it and you will love it. The process of applying may seem scary and long but keep moving forward.
