How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

To me being a Daniels Scholar is a great honor.  I am proud to be a part of Bill Daniels' dream, and I do my best to make the most of the life changing opportunity the Daniels Fund has given me.

What I like most about being in college is that there are so many people in one place that are so willing to teach you and help you become the individual that you want to become. It's an amazing feeling.

My greatest challenge in college so far has been learning to be more independent.  I live far away from my home and what was familiar to me.  I had to start new in college, which was a good experience.

What I would say to someone who is applying to the Daniels Fund is go into it wholeheartedly and know that you are not just doing it for yourself, but for a bigger reason.  Getting an education is important, but the Daniels Fund should mean more than just a way to pay for school.  If you know that, then anything is possible.
