How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar:    To be a Daniel's scholar makes me feel very proud.  I set the example for my peers by being responsible and going to class every day. To be a Daniel's scholar means that I have received an unbelievable gift and will constantly work hard to "pay it forward".

What do you like most about being in college?   College has been fantastic and it is hard to pick the best thing about it but I have to say that I love being in a new place and having the opportunity to meet new people from all over the world and learn about their culture.  Everywhere I turn on campus there are people learning and expressing themselves.  The chance to learn anything is overwhelming but at the same time very exciting.

What has been the greatest challenge so far in college?   The greatest challenge in college so far has been to balance my time.  I have a lot of homework and at the same time I had to be sure and rest enough, and to also take time to have a social life.

What advice would you offer someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar?   If you are applying to become a Daniel's Scholar I will tell you that a lot is expected of you and be sure you are ready to work hard as a student, but at the same time remember in the end it is worth it!
