How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to be a Daniels Scholar:   Being a Daniels Scholar to me means to always be the best I can be.  I have to excel any and all expectations anyone has for me.  I am a representative of an amazing organization and I need to show the world how much I appreciate the organization by always putting my best foot forward.

What do you like most about being in college?   College has opened my world up.  I now know how much there is to do in the world and I have just started my journey.  College has allowed me to look at the bigger picture and forced me not to worry about small things.

What has been the greatest challenge so far in college?   My greatest challenge has been dealing with the people I live with.  I have learned to be patient and keep my mouth shut unless something is really bothering me.  This has been hard for me because I like to speak my mind.

What advice would you offer someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar?   To anyone applying for the scholarship:  Don't show your fake perfect side.  No one is perfect and the Daniels staff looks for people with a good heart and potential to exceed in life.  Just show them the true you.  If you have a will there is a way!  Do everything with a passion and keep in mind if you get the scholarship you will be representing a life changing organization!
