Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar: That you have overcome immense struggles in your life and because of the hard work and potential you show as a student you are being given a life changing opportunity.
What do you like most about being in college? The opportunity to pursue the subjects that interest me! No more history for me!
What has been the greatest challenge so far in college? Adjusting to my new surroundings, and making sure I’m utilizing the resources available.
What advice would you offer someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar? Be yourself, they want to get to know you so don’t hold back. Don’t try to exaggerate or underplay anything, just be you!
