How the Daniels Fund Scholarship has impacted my life:

Please describe what it means to you to be a Daniels Scholar:    Being a Daniels Scholar means having the skills to take on any challenge, but at the same time being able to give back to community.

What do you like best about being in college?    The best thing about college has been living in the dorms. You really get to meet a lot of people and have fun, but at the same time having the independence and responsibility of being on your own.

What has been the greatest challenge so far in college?    My greatest challenge has been managing the balance between school and personal time. I sometimes focus too much in school that I don’t even get to see my friends, but also, sometimes I spend too much time with friends that I end up getting behind in my school work.

What advice would you give to someone who is applying to become a Daniels Scholar?    Try your best at everything and appreciate and be thankful for what you have.
