Bill Daniels’ older sister, Dorothy, was developmentally disabled. He was aware of the challenges faced by the developmentally disabled. The Daniels Fund supports programs that help the developmentally disabled and their families achieve maximum independence and quality of life.
Additionally, Bill Daniels experienced profound hearing loss later in his life, which helped him understand the challenges associated with a physical disability. The Daniels Fund supports programs that provide equipment to the physically challenged.
