Homeless & Disadvantaged
“I am for the underdog, the homeless, the hungry…
for those that need a second chance.”
— BILL DANIELS
Bill Daniels believed that America was the land of opportunity and that people living through hard times could get back on their feet with the right support. Growing up poor during the Great Depression left a profound impression on him and fueled his compassion for those in need and the desire to help them. Throughout his life, Bill gave generously to people in need and the organizations that serve them. To ensure this continues as part of his legacy, he established the Homeless & Disadvantaged funding area for the Daniels Fund.
Our goal is to give homeless and economically disadvantaged individuals and families the hand-up they need to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. We fund nonprofits that provide emergency services, transitional housing programs, or supportive services.
